THE WAVE by Ron Jones
Based on a true story THE WAVE by Ron Jones, is a narrative about a young 1960's California history teacher who wanted to deter his students from the allure of totalitarianism. His daring social experiment succeeded beyond his wildest expectations, creating a fascist state on campus. Replete with salutes and Gestapo-like informants, 30 students grew to 200 as this exercise in fascism spiraled out of control. The "experiment" illustrates how individual freedoms can be quickly abandoned and willfully repressed for collective goals and racism as happened in the rise of Nazi Germany and the treatment of the Jews during World War II.
Unity Productions reached out to pulitzer prize nominee, Ron Jones (author of the original short story, THE THIRD WAVE, and the teacher that led the haunting social experiment), now THE WAVE is Premiering in The 2013 Cincinnati Fringe Festival.

The U.S. Premiere of Nothing by Nic Balthazar
"Finally also in December I saw the North American preview of “Nothing,” a play about a boy with autism... Jon Kovach, starred as “Ben,” and completely transformed himself into this misunderstood and complex character. The writing was superb and I have been very blessed to contribute to this production with photography and as an expert in mental health. I am excited about where this production is headed as it evolves."
